About Me

From a young age, I felt a connection to something deeper than my ordinary identity. In my early twenties, that feeling crystallized into a lasting shift in how I experience reality. Since 1996, I have dedicated my life to understanding spiritual development as a natural human process and supporting others who feel called to explore their own deeper nature.

My work focuses on creating the conditions for you to experience presence, clarity, and self-awareness directly. Often, this occurs through a "silent transmission." This is a shared field of focused attention where insight arises naturally without the need for complex belief systems.

While various traditions have influenced me, my guidance is grounded in direct exploration. I do not promote a doctrine. Instead, I help you discover what is authentic and true within your own experience.

A Grounded Perspective
At the heart of my work is a nondual understanding. Beneath our roles and stories, there is a deeper dimension of being available to us all. Spiritual growth is about embodying that ground of being in our everyday life. Awakening is not an escape from the world. It is a maturation process that allows us to live with greater wisdom and responsibility.

Professional Background
My path has always been rooted in service and human connection. Before dedicating myself to spiritual guidance, I worked extensively in conflict resolution and restorative justice. As a mediator and facilitator, I led youth social action initiatives empowering young people to create real change in the world.

I also spent years in the classroom as a school teacher. My experience in education included teaching at both elementary and secondary levels, where I worked closely with students with special needs and learning disabilities.

For over a decade, my wife and I ran a neighborhood restaurant in Leaside, Toronto, called Millwood Melt. When we transformed the space into a center for contemplative practice, we kept our nickname but expanded it to reflect its new purpose, The Melt: An Urban Ashram.

These varied roles in education, entrepreneurship, and mediation keep my spiritual work practical and relational.

My Journey

My spiritual path began with unusual states of awareness in childhood, characterized by a sense of boundless presence. While these experiences receded during my teens, the memory of that deeper dimension stayed with me.

In my early twenties, I underwent a profound inner shift. My center of gravity moved beyond a purely ego-based perspective. This was the beginning of a long process of integration. I began learning how to relate and function in the world while grounded in this new awareness.

I waited many years to speak publicly about this awakening, ensuring the shift was stable and fully understood. In the mid-2000s, my work evolved to include energy transmissions, which is the capacity to help others access expanded states of awareness through shared presence.

Today, my goal is simple: to help you awaken to your deeper nature in a way that is stable and integrated into your daily life. I believe spiritual development is not about escaping our humanity, but about maturing into it more fully.
